Many people try to locate the best price on Amazon. While most of our readers already know some of the best techniques, we reckoned a short tutorial wouldn’t harm anyone. Plus, there are still many folks out there who aren’t that familiar with Amazon’s navigation tools.
Firstly, you’ll need to visit Amazon’s product page. Duh 🙂
3 Easy Ways to locate the best price on Amazon
Now that the listing page is opened in your web browser, there are three ways:
1) Right under the item’s price, you may see “Note: Available at a lower price from other sellers” , where you’ll also see “other sellers” as a blue referral link. The referral link will take you to a list of other Amazon sellers who are selling that item. The list will be ordered by price – from lowest to highest. It’s worthwhile to mention that the total price includes shipping cost and not just the price of the item.
2) Otherwise, you could also scroll down the listing page where it says “Used & new(xx) from $xx.xx“. Just like described above, you will see a blue referral link. Once you’ve clicked on it, you’ll be taken to the same list of sellers who are currently selling this item.
3.) Another, third way, is for you to scroll further down the page, and look on the far right side. You will see the same link as explained above in section 2).
While you are on the page that displays various sellers, you may review item conditions, prices, and shipping cost (if any).
This page will also display customers’ feedback for different sellers and where the sellers typically ship from. In general terms, the closer the seller is located to you, the faster you will receive your order. Here you can also choose to view different variations of the item you are interested in. That is, size, color, accessories, bundles, etc. On the left-hand side, you may also filter the choices by shipping method, and condition. For example, you may only be interested in those sellers who offer free shipping.
And that’s it!
This is how you can spot the best price on Amazon for any item. To complete your transaction, simply click on Add to Cart on the right side, and go from there.
